This Audit tool is designed to enable the surgeon to audit his practice and outcomes and check if the outcomes are. This information is used by the surgeon to inform annual appraisal and target areas for Continuing Professional Development and thus improve the service he provides.
In addition regular audits of readmission rates, post-op infection rates, patient satisfaction etc, are also collected and monitored to improve the patient experience.
